" I bought this because I've had these on all my previous galaxy devices and they all came with a screen weight to help evenly spread the adhesive. BUT, I don't like these review on Amazon on the heralded Whitestone Dome: Gee on a $1,200 phone should I/We be worring about $16? LOL. But I guess in reality it's $20 a piece since you get two versus $4 a piece for good quality film.

I also don't like the idea of spending $40 (with tax) on something that is essentially going to eventually get thrown away in as little has a couple months if you crack it or for a variety of other reasons down the road. But I admit, technically, if you do it carefully, it probably is the most durable solution that *may* last longer than the film if the edges don't start coming up and you don't crack it. I really don't like the idea of dumping adhesive on my phone and curing it with a UV light. But at $4 ea ($12 for a 3-pack), it's nice to have a fresh new protector each year and not be bummed if you crack your expensive glass protector. It also was self healing for most nicks and deep scratches, unlike glass even though glass is less prone to scratches. I just had to replace it once a year as tiny microscratches you can't see eventually make it loose its glass-like slickness (but not its glass like clarity). What I found is that it looked and felt like there was nothing on the phone. I used the Refun film protector for a long time on my Note 20 Ultra. With that said, here's where I'm leaning towards the Milomdoi glass protector based on that video, the Ringke Easy Dual that wraps around the edges, or my old standard Refun for the S22 which should fit the S23.

The glass protectors with liquid adhesive, there is a risk of getting the liquid in hard to clean areas but this appears to be rare but the question is, does cost cutting on the latest install kit increase this risk?.Granted it's a fraction of the price of the phone. If you click to 'read all reviews' and then change the sort to 'most recent', you see the reviews changed from mostly 5-star to mostly 1 and 2 star for a vast majority of the protectors! Even the most recent reviews for the Whitestone from previous Whitestone users say the install kit has gone downhill and this protector aint cheap at about $40 including tax.
I've used both glass and film protectors on flagship smartphones the past 20 years. Bare with the long post but I want to cover all the bases.
